RR Golden Rod Acropora
RR Golden Rod looks a little like somebody planted a tiny golden shrub in the middle of the reef and just let it keep going. Its thin branches grow into a dense, bushy colony, with yellow-gold tissue and small blue and purple polyps scattered across the surface.
As it gets larger, all of those narrow branches start weaving together into a tangled little thicket. It has a much softer, finer look than the heavier branches you see on many SPS, which makes that golden color spread through the colony almost like a glowing patch of brush.

Flow — Moderate to High

Provide Moderate to High variable flow that keeps detritus from settling on the Acropora. Avoid constant direct current from the same direction in favor of random chaotic water movement.
Placement — Mid to Upper level
Placement of your RR Golden Rod Acropora is one of the most important decisions.
This is where you’ll have to take lighting, flow, future growth and nearby corals into consideration.
Since it prefers 200 - 350 PAR range it will need to be mounted Mid to Upper level on your rock work depending on your light intensity.
Allow room for its Bushy growth form, and consider neighboring coral colors and shape. When possible, use contrasting corals such as red next to green, blue next to orange, or yellow next to purple, and mix growth forms such as tall branching corals next to plating or encrusting corals.
