WWC Fruit Loopz Bernardpora Goniopora
WWC Fruit Loopz is one of those corals that shows how reefkeeping names sometimes take a while to catch up with coral science. It has long been sold in the hobby as a “Micro Goniopora,” however the WWC Fruit Loopz is a Bernardpora.
Bernardpora was actually separated from Goniopora as its own genus in 2014 after researchers took a closer look at both its structure and genetics. So while “Micro Goni” is still the name most reefers know, Bernardpora is more than just a nickname for a small Goniopora.

Allow room for its Solitary growth form, and consider neighboring coral colors and shape. When possible, use contrasting corals such as red next to green, blue next to orange, or yellow next to purple, and mix growth forms such as tall branching corals next to plating or encrusting corals.
