KP Green Glitter Bomb Goniopora
KP Green Glitter Bomb Goniopora sounds like the aftermath of letting a five-year-old loose in a craft store with a bottle of glue and unlimited glitter. Its long neon green polyps are covered in thousands of tiny lighter specks, with darker tips that somehow escaped the glue.
Our original frag came from our friend and avid Goniopora collector Krista P. in January 2020. That’s where the “KP” comes from—and thankfully, this glitter stays in the tank.

We recommend starting the KP Green Glitter Bomb Goniopora in the 100 - 200 PAR range.
Flow — Moderate
Moderate
Provide Moderate variable flow that keeps detritus from settling on the Goniopora. Avoid constant direct current from the same direction in favor of random chaotic water movement.
Placement — Lower to Mid level
Placement of your KP Green Glitter Bomb Goniopora is one of the most important decisions.
This is where you’ll have to take lighting, flow, future growth and nearby corals into consideration.
Since it prefers 100 - 200 PAR range it will need to be mounted Lower to Mid level on your rock work depending on your light intensity.
Allow room for its Solitary growth form, and consider neighboring coral colors and shape. When possible, use contrasting corals such as red next to green, blue next to orange, or yellow next to purple, and mix growth forms such as tall branching corals next to plating or encrusting corals.
