LCH Blue Squirt Goniopora
Meet the LCH Blue Squirt Goniopora — This one is new to our collection, (2024) so we’re still figuring out its likes and dislikes. Right now it’s hanging out under moderate lighting and getting a stronger flow than we’d usually choose (limited tank real estate), and the color has been downright impressive. Growth has been on the leisurely side — think slow-blooming rather than instant takeover — which makes it an easygoing centerpiece if you enjoy watching subtle changes over time.

We recommend starting the LCH Blue Squirt Goniopora in the 100 - 200 PAR range.
Flow — Moderate
Moderate
Provide Moderate variable flow that keeps detritus from settling on the Goniopora. Avoid constant direct current from the same direction in favor of random chaotic water movement.
Placement — Lower to Mid level
Placement of your LCH Blue Squirt Goniopora is one of the most important decisions.
This is where you’ll have to take lighting, flow, future growth and nearby corals into consideration.
Since it prefers 100 - 200 PAR range it will need to be mounted Lower to Mid level on your rock work depending on your light intensity.
Allow room for its Solitary growth form, and consider neighboring coral colors and shape. When possible, use contrasting corals such as red next to green, blue next to orange, or yellow next to purple, and mix growth forms such as tall branching corals next to plating or encrusting corals.
