๐Ÿ›’ Adding Items to an Existing Order

You may add additional items to an existing order as long as the original order has not already shipped.

1. Add the additional items to your cart.
2. Proceed to checkout.
3. Select the shipping option. Do not select local pickup.
4. Enter discount code AddtoOrder
The discount code will remove the additional shipping charge. If the combined retail total of all open orders reaches $375, I will refund the shipping charge from the first order.

โœˆ๏ธ Shipping Method

All livestock ships via FedEx Priority Overnight. Standard delivery is generally by 10:30 a.m., or by noon in some rural areas.

Orders are typically packed between noon and 3:00 p.m.

โœ“ Corals are double-bagged using 3-mil poly bags.
โœ“ Corals are protected using custom laser-cut impact-protection cups from Tidal Guard.
โœ“ Orders are packed inside a solid EPS foam cooler approximately 1.5 inches thick.
โœ“ The insulated cooler is placed inside a corrugated shipping box.
โœ“ 40-hour heat packs or ice packs are included when needed.

๐Ÿšš Shipping Schedule

Shipping occurs Monday through Thursday. Orders placed by 1:00 p.m. Eastern Time typically ship the same day.

I can often accommodate same-day shipping for orders placed after 1:00 p.m., but same-day shipment is not guaranteed.

๐ŸŒฆ๏ธ Weather & Shipping Delays

If reported delays or severe weather could affect the shipping route from Dayton, Ohio, I will contact you to discuss a shipping date that provides the best chance for an on-time arrival.

Potential concerns include heavy winds, extreme heat or cold, and major storms. High winds are one of the most common causes of delayed aircraft departures and arrivals.

โœ… Guarantee

If a shipping delay causes a coral loss on a retail order, we have you covered for the cost of the coral minus shipping. When I see other retailerโ€™s that have a clause not to cover loss from shipping delays due to unforeseen circumstances ย beyond your control, that is just crazy to me.

Shipping delays do not always result in a loss. Occasionally, a package may arrive in the afternoon, evening or even the next day. Corals will arrive colder or warmer than expected and may require additional floating time to gradually reach the aquarium's temperature.

Important: If a coral arrives dead or poor condition, please contact me promptly and provide clear photos.

If anย  loss occurs, we will provide either a suitable replacement or store credit.

โš ๏ธ Exceptions

The live-arrival guarantee does not apply when a significant and avoidable shipping risk is accepted by the customer.

If I contact you recommending holding an order because of excessive heat, cold, wind, storms, or expected delays, but you request to ship anyway, we have no issue with that however losses caused by those conditions will not be covered because it was expected.
Orders delivered to a business are not covered if no one is present to accept the package. FedEx may not leave a package at an unattended business as they do at a residence.
FedEx delivery times are not guaranteed. Packages may arrive before or after the business's normal operating hours.
Shipping between Thanksgiving and New Year's Day is not covered because significant carrier delays are common during this period. I will ship during this time upon request, but I do not recommend it.

๐Ÿ“… Saturday Delivery

Saturday arrival is not offered because FedEx operates with reduced staffing and has fewer resources available to address delivery problems.

Saturday delivery may be arranged upon request, but it will not be covered by the shipping guarantee because there is a higher probability of a delay and will have a fedex surcharge applied

๐Ÿท๏ธ Wholesale Orders

Wholesale orders are not covered for livestock losses caused by shipping delays.

Wholesale customers are encouraged to provide a FedEx shipping label from their own insured account. This allows the customer to work directly with their FedEx account representative if a significant delay affects the health of the coral.
