Wholesale orders are not eligible for free shipping.
๐ Adding Items to an Existing Order
You may add additional items to an existing order as long as the original order has not already shipped.
โ๏ธ Shipping Method
All livestock ships via FedEx Priority Overnight. Standard delivery is generally by 10:30 a.m., or by noon in some rural areas.
Orders are typically packed between noon and 3:00 p.m.
๐ Shipping Schedule
Shipping occurs Monday through Thursday. Orders placed by 1:00 p.m. Eastern Time typically ship the same day.
I can often accommodate same-day shipping for orders placed after 1:00 p.m., but same-day shipment is not guaranteed.
This schedule may change when FedEx is closed or when severe weather affects transit.

Same-day curbside pickup is available from noon to 6:00 p.m. with advance notice

๐ฆ๏ธ Weather & Shipping Delays
If reported delays or severe weather could affect the shipping route from Dayton, Ohio, I will contact you to discuss a shipping date that provides the best chance for an on-time arrival.
Potential concerns include heavy winds, extreme heat or cold, and major storms. High winds are one of the most common causes of delayed aircraft departures and arrivals.
โ Guarantee
If a shipping delay causes a coral loss on a retail order, we have you covered for the cost of the coral minus shipping. When I see other retailerโs that have a clause not to cover loss from shipping delays due to unforeseen circumstances ย beyond your control, that is just crazy to me.
Shipping delays do not always result in a loss. Occasionally, a package may arrive in the afternoon, evening or even the next day. Corals will arrive colder or warmer than expected and may require additional floating time to gradually reach the aquarium's temperature.
If anย loss occurs, we will provide either a suitable replacement or store credit.
โ ๏ธ Exceptions
The live-arrival guarantee does not apply when a significant and avoidable shipping risk is accepted by the customer.
๐ Saturday Delivery
Saturday arrival is not offered because FedEx operates with reduced staffing and has fewer resources available to address delivery problems.
Saturday delivery may be arranged upon request, but it will not be covered by the shipping guarantee because there is a higher probability of a delay and will have a fedex surcharge applied
๐ท๏ธ Wholesale Orders
Wholesale orders are not covered for livestock losses caused by shipping delays.
Wholesale customers are encouraged to provide a FedEx shipping label from their own insured account. This allows the customer to work directly with their FedEx account representative if a significant delay affects the health of the coral.
