The ACI Princess Hammer from the Royal Collection is a striking Fimbriaphyllia (formerly Euphyllia) branching hammer first released by ACI Aquaculture as part of their Royal Collection on April 10, 2023—one of five Sulawesi-imported strains the farm had been culturing since 2021—and deliberately named and curated (King, Queen, Princess, Prince, Lord) to emphasize unusual tentacle-tip morphologies; hobbyists were captivated by the multi‑colored Princess, which sold out quickly, and ACI even used electron microscopy in their breeding work to investigate whether these distinct strains might represent new species, giving the coral scientific intrigue beyond its looks.  Lazy’s Coral House purchased the Princess Hammer on its release date (4/10/2023) and it has proven hardy in captivity while retaining its green, yellow and pink coloration, making it both collectible for its rarity and interesting for its potential taxonomic implications.
