This bag of live Amphipods can greatly aid in keeping your tank free from unattractive algae and detritus. The bag is filled with these beneficial creatures and their size matches what is seen in the video. These are not the smaller pods that are more commonly available, but rather large which is key to controlling algae growth. They have an impressive appetite and can consume a large amount of algae, as shown in the video where a single sheet of nori is consumed within 24 hours when placed in the sieves.

It is recommend to add these to your tank at night when fish are sleeping. This will allow them to find their hiding spots before getting picked off by your reef fish (this is their favorite food). You can float them in the sump in the fully sealed bag until evening or pour them in a plastic container at room temperature and enjoy watching them swim about until the evening time comes to add them to the tank.
