Blue Hornet Zoas come from one of the most recognizable old-school zoa families in the hobby. The Hornet name has been around for years and comes in several colors. Blue Hornets maintain those classic super-sharp lines, with a navy blue disc, bright yellow and blue alternating skirt, and a thin yellow ring that gives them the true Hornet signature look.
There are plenty of Hornets in the family tree, but the Blue Hornet is one of the originals that helped make the last name worth having.

Placement — Island
Placement of your Blue Hornets Zoas is one of the most important decisions.
This is where you’ll have to take lighting, flow, future growth and nearby corals into consideration.
Since it prefers 100 - 200 PAR range it will need to be mounted Island on your rock work depending on your light intensity.
Allow room for its Matting growth form, and consider neighboring coral colors and shape. When possible, use contrasting corals such as red next to green, blue next to orange, or yellow next to purple, and mix growth forms such as tall branching corals next to plating or encrusting corals.
