Cosmic Candy Bounce Chalice - WYSIWYG

Cosmic Candy Bounce Chalice - WYSIWYG

WYSIWYG — Exact piece pictured

Most chalices seem perfectly comfortable growing on geological time. Cosmic Candy Bounce apparently missed that memo. Ours grows noticeably faster than most chalices, spreading out a blue and neon green base while pushing up those oversized pink bubbles across the surface.

The bubbles can grow from tiny bumps into big swollen vesicles that completely change the look of the colony as it matures. Between the grafted colors, oversized bubbles, and unusually good growth, Cosmic Candy has a lot more going on than the average chalice.

Provide Low to Moderate variable flow that keeps detritus from settling on the Chalice. Avoid constant direct current from the same direction in favor of random chaotic water movement.

PlacementLower level

Placement of your Cosmic Candy Bounce Chalice is one of the most important decisions.
This is where you’ll have to take lighting, flow, future growth and nearby corals into consideration.
Since it prefers 50 - 125 PAR range it will need to be mounted Lower level on your rock work depending on your light intensity.
Allow room for its Encrusting growth form, and consider neighboring coral colors and shape. When possible, use contrasting corals such as red next to green, blue next to orange, or yellow next to purple, and mix growth forms such as tall branching corals next to plating or encrusting corals.
