The JF Raunchy Red Bounce Mushroom is larger then most bounce mushrooms. It is not picky and seems to be the most rugged of all the other bounce mushrooms. Great for a beginner with its adaptability and reasonable price. It multiplies by splitting itself in half or in 3rds. Once it splits it will start to develop bubbles. At full maturity it is covered with bubbles. Most are red but some will turn a yellowish green coloration. Pictured is my colony of mature Raunchy Reds. You will receive a large bounce mushroom with at least one bubble. It isn't picky with lighting so honestly anywhere is fine. As will all corals it likes good flow

Flow — Low to Moderate
Provide Low to Moderate variable flow that keeps detritus from settling on the Mushroom. Avoid constant direct current from the same direction in favor of random chaotic water movement.
Placement — Lower level
Placement of your JF Raunchy Red Bounce Mushroom is one of the most important decisions.
This is where you’ll have to take lighting, flow, future growth and nearby corals into consideration.
Since it prefers 50 - 125 PAR range it will need to be mounted Lower level on your rock work depending on your light intensity.
Allow room for its Solitary growth form, and consider neighboring coral colors and shape. When possible, use contrasting corals such as red next to green, blue next to orange, or yellow next to purple, and mix growth forms such as tall branching corals next to plating or encrusting corals.
