I have been culturing this Rainbow Goni since 2013. It has been rock solid. No matter what conditions my tanks are in it has always had great color and growth. This is a short tentacle Gonipora, not even sure if it is even a goniopora. At times it will extended a couple tentacles longer but not all the time and is usually only has about a 1” reach.

The Goni received looked nothing like the coral in the picture… but I mean that in a wonderful way (not that the one in the picture is unattractive). The frag received has beautiful multicolored polyps that took only an hour to start popping out after acclimation. It also was FILLED with polyps rather than the few portrayed in the pic. I’m very happy with my purchase and hope I can keep this beautiful baby alive !
This Goni is a shorter tentacle variety but it opened up immediately and is doing great even in high flow.
