The RMF Last Dragon Acro is a highly sought-after, premium SPS coral. 

It was originally released by Jared Goldenstein of Rocky Mountain Frags shortly after the massive surge in popularity of the original Acropora carduus "Red Dragon" acro, which first entered the US market around 2012 from maricultured colonies in Bali. While the original Red Dragon took off for its unique, deepwater branching style and bright red color, the Last Dragon was selected and propagated as a distinct color mutation, trading the red for a deep purple skeleton and neon green polyps tips.

Provide Moderate to High variable flow that keeps detritus from settling on the Acropora. Avoid constant direct current from the same direction in favor of random chaotic water movement.

Placement — Mid to Upper level

Placement of your RMF Last Dragon Acropora is one of the most important decisions.
This is where you’ll have to take lighting, flow, future growth and nearby corals into consideration.
Since it prefers 200 - 350 PAR range it will need to be mounted Mid to Upper level on your rock work depending on your light intensity.
Allow room for its Bushy growth form, and consider neighboring coral colors and shape. When possible, use contrasting corals such as red next to green, blue next to orange, or yellow next to purple, and mix growth forms such as tall branching corals next to plating or encrusting corals.
