RRC Shazam Acropora has been making reef keepers say the magic word since at least 2018, when colonies of this Reef Raft Canada coral were already showing up in SPS collections around the world.
Shazam has an icy blue to pearl-colored skin with red polyps, and the colors can shift quite a bit depending on tank conditions and lighting. Give it time to grow out and—SHAZAM!—apparently reef keeping does come with a little magic after all.

Flow — Moderate to High
Provide Moderate to High variable flow that keeps detritus from settling on the Acropora. Avoid constant direct current from the same direction in favor of random chaotic water movement.
Placement — Mid to Upper level
Placement of your RRC Shazam Acropora is one of the most important decisions.
This is where you’ll have to take lighting, flow, future growth and nearby corals into consideration.
Since it prefers 200 - 350 PAR range it will need to be mounted Mid to Upper level on your rock work depending on your light intensity.
Allow room for its Bushy growth form, and consider neighboring coral colors and shape. When possible, use contrasting corals such as red next to green, blue next to orange, or yellow next to purple, and mix growth forms such as tall branching corals next to plating or encrusting corals.
