Red, white and blue. Such a great color combination.  White zombies are a fast growing zoanthid that does well in any type of lighting and intensity. If you want more red to show up and larger polyps then go for lower lighting at 50-150 par. If you want it to be more white and blue then put them in higher lighting 200+ par

White Zombie Zoas look like they’ve been dead for a week and somehow still have better color than half the zoas in the tank. Their pale icy faces are streaked with red and white, while the skirts alternate from blue to pink.

The strange part is they don’t always stay that way. White Zombies can morph from mostly white to much heavier reds for reasons nobody seems to have completely figured out, and no two polyps look exactly the same. Even polyps sitting right next to each other can look like they’re at completely different stages of becoming a zombie.

They’re unusually pale for a zoa without looking washed out, which is probably the closest a living coral can get to looking undead. The zombie part may be questionable, but they definitely got the white part right.

Provide Moderate variable flow that keeps detritus from settling on the Zoas. Avoid constant direct current from the same direction in favor of random chaotic water movement.

Placement — Island

Placement of your White Zombies Zoas is one of the most important decisions.
This is where you’ll have to take lighting, flow, future growth and nearby corals into consideration.
Since it prefers 100 - 200 PAR range it will need to be mounted Island on your rock work depending on your light intensity.
Allow room for its Matting growth form, and consider neighboring coral colors and shape. When possible, use contrasting corals such as red next to green, blue next to orange, or yellow next to purple, and mix growth forms such as tall branching corals next to plating or encrusting corals.
